In 2006 Dan & Stacie were married in White Springs FL.  They both knew they had a special love story to share, but neither expected their love for agriculture from their childhoods would be recreated!  Both were raised farming with Chickens, Goats, Hogs and Cattle.  Dan was even his High School FFA President.

In 2007 Dan bought Stacie four commercial heifers for her birthday.  In 2008, she bought him their first bull and they started Register Ranch.  In 2014 they lost their beloved Dixie.

That year for Christmas, Dan bought Stacie her first pair of Registered Brahman Cattle.  They decided to make it official and Dixie Cattle was created.  Since 2014 they now have over 100 head of Red & Gray Brahmans, with 5 herd sires: from the great bloodlines of Detering Red Brahmans, JD Hudgins and L2 Ranch.

Dixie Cattle is known for helping the youth of local 4H and FFA teams show and learn about the Brahman industry.  In 2019 they hosted their first Cattle Show, The Dixie Cattle Invitational.  In 2020, the Dixie Cattle Show Series began.  The focus is on ALL cattle, not just Brahman and is open to exhibitors in ALL states.
